Business Development Executive (to be based in KL, Penang and Johor)

Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach new businesses to be featured on our website, building on the existing range of deals.
  
  
• Present our company as an innovative marketing method of acquiring new customers.
  
  
• Propose and negotiate the best deals for our subscribers.
  
  
• Responsible for managing the retention and development of his/her portfolio of merchants.
  
  
• Responsible for the training, implementation and post-deal servicing of the clients in his/her portfolio.
  
  

Requirements:

• Likes to talk.
  
  
• You must be commercially aware and articulate with strong communication skills.
  
  
• Experience with cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with proven sales track record preferred.
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak other languages a plus.
  
  
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
  
  
• Candidates from Penang and Johor Bahru encouraged to apply (to be based in Penang/Johor Bahru).
  
  
• 1 – 2 years of sales or marketing experience.
  
  
• Experience with social media, advertising, marketing and online sales is highly favourable for the successful candidate.
  
  
• References from previous employer.
  
  
• Sense of humour essential!
